MISSION
The Giavanni Innovation and Arts Fund a/k/a The G.I.A. Fund – A legacy project in honor of Giavanni Malia Powell is established to support artists, arts education, and arts advocacy. The G.I.A. Fund will provide grants and scholarships to artists, innovators, and entrepreneurs to uplift and empower their cultural expressions and promote innovation in artistic endeavors. The G.I.A. Fund will sponsor activities, projects, and campaigns to further its mission and provide assistance to others with similar artistic goals, purposes, and projects. The G.I.A. Fund will also facilitate the building of artistic community, encourage collaborative efforts for artistic endeavors, and provide resources to promote the positive mental and physical well-being of artists and innovators.
